Welcome to The National Medical Weight Loss Programme

Established in 2019, The National Medical Weight Loss Programme provides online CPD and SCOPE accredited education, exclusively to registered health professionals in the medical management of overweight and obesity.

We combine flexible online learning with world-class academic training written by an Expert Advisor to the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) on obesity.

Delegates who successfully pass the course, can promote themselves as a Certified Partner of The National Medical Weight Loss Programme

Expert Training

Experience in-depth and comprehensive evidence-based medicine, complying with all regulatory policies and guidelines. Our training will enable you to create a successful business model delivering a safe, legal and ethical medical weight management service.

Mounjaro® contains an FDA approved medication called Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide is licenced to treat type-2 diabetes and obesity
Saxenda®, Wegovy® and Mounjaro® are the only licenced injectable prescription medicines currently available for the treatment of obesity in the UK
A simple injection is self-administered weekly with an easy-to-use pen that is pre-filled with the medication
Each box of pens lasts 4 weeks

Wegovy

Weekly Injection (Semaglutide)

Saxenda®, Wegovy® and Mounjaro® are the only licenced injectable prescription medicines currently available for the treatment of obesity in the UK
A simple injection is self-administered daily with a dose-adjustable pen that is pre-filled with the medication
Each pen will last between 6 – 30 days, depending on the daily dose given

The National Medical Weight Loss Programme (NMWLP) was developed exclusively to train registered healthcare professionals. Some examples of the professionals we train can be found below. CQC Registration

All healthcare professionals in England (other than pharmacists) are required to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to offer this service.

If you’re not already working from registered premises (whether that’s from a clinic, or your own home / office), we can offer an EXCLUSIVE package deal which, in addition to becoming one of our Certified Partners, also provides you with the full CQC registration support package through our strategic business partner C are Consultancy Assist.
